quwwat-e-jism-o-jaan yaad aai
quvvat-e-jism-o-jāñ yaad aa.ī
dil kī tāb-o-tavāñ yaad aa.ī
aaj mujhe ik baat tumhārī
mujh se bhī pinhāñ yaad aa.ī
kal tum hujra-e-ġham se chale
mujh ko umr-e-ravāñ yaad aa.ī
bazm-e-tarab meñ baat ḳhushī kī
ban kar ġham kā samāñ yaad aa.ī
mujh se huā ye kaam bhī varna
kis ko apnī fuġhāñ yaad aa.ī
apne jurm-e-siyah yaad aa.e
terī ḳhū-e-amāñ yaad aa.ī
dil ke zaḳhm hue phir taaza
phir vo teġh-e-zabāñ yaad aa.ī
terī shikāyat tere muñh par
kab kī baat kahāñ yaad aa.ī
quwwat-e-jism-o-jaan yaad aai
dil ki tab-o-tawan yaad aai
aaj mujhe ek baat tumhaari
mujh se bhi pinhan yaad aai
kal tum hujra-e-gham se chale
mujh ko umr-e-rawan yaad aai
bazm-e-tarab mein baat KHushi ki
ban kar gham ka saman yaad aai
mujh se hua ye kaam bhi warna
kis ko apni fughan yaad aai
apne jurm-e-siyah yaad aae
teri KHu-e-aman yaad aai
dil ke zaKHm hue phir taza
phir wo tegh-e-zaban yaad aai
teri shikayat tere munh par
kab ki baat kahan yaad aai
