rañg mausam kā harā thā pahle
peḌ ye kitnā ghanā thā pahle
maiñ ne to ba.ad meñ toḌā thā ise
ā.īna mujh pe hañsā thā pahle
jo nayā hai vo purānā hogā
jo purānā hai nayā thā pahle
ba.ad meñ maiñ ne bulandī ko chhuā
apnī nazroñ se girā thā pahle
rang mausam ka hara tha pahle
peD ye kitna ghana tha pahle
main ne to baad mein toDa tha ise
aaina mujh pe hansa tha pahle
jo naya hai wo purana hoga
jo purana hai naya tha pahle
baad mein main ne bulandi ko chhua
