رنگوں کی پہچان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
رنگوں کی پہچان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
تجھ جیسا انسان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
میں نے اتنے کام کئے ہیں فرصت میں
پورا پاکستان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
ایک فقیر کی آہ نے وہ بھی کر ڈالا
جو شاہی فرمان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
اشکوں سے شاداب رہیں تیری آنکھیں
میں جن کو ویران نہیں کر سکتا تھا
اپنا آپ بتا سکتا تھا پوچھنے پر
بس خود کو آسان نہیں کر سکتا تھا
