sab ke hote hue lagtā hai ki ghar ḳhālī hai
ye takalluf hai ki jazbāt kī pāmālī hai
āsmānoñ se utarne kā irādā ho to sun
shāḳh par ek parinde kī jagah ḳhālī hai
jis kī āñkhoñ meñ sharārat thī vo mahbūba thī
ye jo majbūr sī aurat hai ye ghar vaalī hai
raat be-lutf hai parhez ke sālan kī tarah
din bhikārī ke kaTore kī tarah ḳhālī hai
muddatoñ ḳhud ko bharose meñ liyā hai maiñ ne
tab kahīñ terī mohabbat ne sipar Daalī hai
sab ke hote hue lagta hai ki ghar KHali hai
ye takalluf hai ki jazbaat ki pamali hai
aasmanon se utarne ka irada ho to sun
shaKH par ek parinde ki jagah KHali hai
jis ki aankhon mein shararat thi wo mahbuba thi
ye jo majbur si aurat hai ye ghar wali hai
raat be-lutf hai parhez ke salan ki tarah
din bhikari ke kaTore ki tarah KHali hai
muddaton KHud ko bharose mein liya hai main ne
tab kahin teri mohabbat ne sipar Dali hai
