sahbā-kahsoñ kī ḳhaak hai har ik maqām par

saaqī luñDhā sharāb ko mastoñ ke naam par

zar ho to haath aa.eñ hasīnān-e-sīm-tan

sayyād kā shikār hai mauqūf daam par

qāsid ko yaar ke hoñ payambar maiñ kah rahā

zāhid sunā.eñge salavāt is kalām par

sahba-kahson ki KHak hai har ek maqam par

saqi lunDha sharab ko maston ke nam par

zar ho to hath aaen hasinan-e-sim-tan

sayyaad ka shikar hai mauquf dam par

qasid ko yar ke hon payambar main kah raha

zahid sunaenge salawat is kalam par
