Matla (the first sher) refers to Shah Wilayat's shrine at Amroha. It is said that scorpions within the shrine premises never sting even if someone accidentally steps on. Noted poet Jaun Eliya spent his childhood here.
shaam huī hai yaar aa.e haiñ yāroñ ke hamrāh chaleñ
aaj vahāñ qavvālī hogī 'jaun' chalo dargāh chaleñ
apnī galiyāñ apne ramne apne jañgal apnī havā
