shaam ko sub.h-e-chaman yaad aa.ī
kis kī ḳhushbu-e-badan yaad aa.ī
jab ḳhayāloñ meñ koī moḌ aayā
tere gesū kī shikan yaad aa.ī
yaad aa.e tire paikar ke ḳhutūt
apnī kotāhī-e-fan yaad aa.ī
chāñd jab duur ufuq par Duubā
tere lahje kī thakan yaad aa.ī
din shuāoñ se ulajhte guzrā
raat aa.ī to kiran yaad aa.ī
sham ko subh-e-chaman yaad aai
kis ki KHushbu-e-badan yaad aai
jab KHayalon mein koi moD aaya
tere gesu ki shikan yaad aai
yaad aae tere paikar ke KHutut
apni kotahi-e-fan yaad aai
