تذکرہ ان کا ہی جو رنگ بدل جاتے ہیں
بات سایوں کی نہیں سائے تو ڈھل جاتے ہیں
آپ زحمت نہ کریں پرسش حال دل کی
منہ سے نا گفتنی جملے بھی نکل جاتے ہیں
اتنا خوش فہم نہ ہو اے دل پژمردہ کہ اب
وہ شگوفے جو نہ کھل پائیں کچل جاتے ہیں
کچھ دیے خون رگ جاں سے ہوئے ہیں روشن
کچھ دیے تندیٔ صہبا سے بھی جل جاتے ہیں
