تری زلفوں نے بل کھایا تو ہوتا
تری زلفوں نے بل کھایا تو ہوتا
ذرا سنبل کو لہرایا تو ہوتا
رخ بے داغ دکھلایا تو ہوتا
گل لالہ کو شرمایا تو ہوتا
چلے گا کبک کیا رفتار تیری
یہ انداز قدم پایا تو ہوتا
کہے جاتے وہ سنتے یا نہ سنتے
زباں تک حال دل آیا تو ہوتا
سمجھتا یا نہ اے آتشؔ سمجھتا
دل مضطر کو سمجھایا تو ہوتا
