اک کرن آفتاب کی سی ہو
دوڑتا ہوں میں تشنہ لب پیچھے
میرے حق میں سراب کی سی ہو
جو نہ تعبیر ہو سکے گا کبھی
تم حسیں ایسے خواب کی سی ہو
حسن بے مثل لا جواب ترا
یہ غلط ماہتاب کی سی ہو
ایک دریا ہے موجزن تم میں
اک امنڈتے شباب کی سی ہو
حال دل کا ترے میں کیا جانوں
بند تم اک کتاب کی سی ہو
