jis roz vo be-naqāb hogā
ḳhūbāñ se na kar mohabbat ai dil
āmān kahāñ ḳharāb hogā
ai marg shitāb kah tū mujh se
us ziist ko kab javāb hogā
bosa de 'soz' ko mirī jaan
matlab terā shitāb hogā
