usī kī tarah mujhe saarā zamānā chāhe
vo mirā hone se ziyāda mujhe paanā chāhe
merī palkoñ se phisal jaatā hai chehra terā
ye musāfir to koī aur Thikānā chāhe
ek banphūl thā is shahr meñ vo bhī na rahā
koī ab kis ke liye lauT ke aanā chāhe
zindagī hasratoñ ke saaz pe sahmā-sahmā
vo tarāna hai jise dil nahīñ gaanā chāhe

wo mera hone se ziyaada mujhe pana chahe
