makr hai ahd sab qarār-fareb
raah rakhte haiñ us ke daam se said
hai balā koī vo shikār-fareb
ohde se nikleñ kis tarah āshiq
ek adā us kī hai hazār-fareb
iltifāt-e-zamāna par mat jā
'mīr' detā hai rozgār-fareb
