yas hai hasrat hai gham hai aur shab-e-dijur hai
yaas hai hasrat hai ġham hai aur shab-e-dījūr hai
itne sāthī haiñ magar tanhā dil-e-ranjūr hai
terā jaanā thā ki ġham-ḳhāne pe vahshat chhā ga.ī
maiñ ye samjhā thā mire ghar se bayābāñ duur hai
shab kī ḳhāmoshī meñ hai terā tasavvur terī yaad
haa.e kyā sāmān-e-taskīn-e-dil-e-ranjūr hai
yas hai hasrat hai gham hai aur shab-e-dijur hai
itne sathi hain magar tanha dil-e-ranjur hai
tera jaana tha ki gham-KHane pe wahshat chha gai
main ye samjha tha mere ghar se bayaban dur hai
shab ki KHamoshi mein hai tera tasawwur teri yaad
hae kya saman-e-taskin-e-dil-e-ranjur hai
