zara si der mein kashkol bharne wala tha
zarā sī der meñ kashkol bharne vaalā thā
mirā ḳhudā mujhe ḳhush-hāl karne vaalā thā
tū aa gayā hai to ab yaad bhī nahīñ mujh ko
ye ishq merā burā haal karne vaalā thā
ye ek aur hī uftād paḌne vaalī thī
tū dil meñ rah ke bhī dil se utarne vaalā thā
na jaane kaun sī nekī bachā ga.ī mujh ko
yaqīn maan maiñ had se guzarne vaalā thā
zara si der mein kashkol bharne wala tha
mera KHuda mujhe KHush-haal karne wala tha
tu aa gaya hai to ab yaad bhi nahin mujh ko
ye ishq mera bura haal karne wala tha
ye ek aur hi uftad paDne wali thi
tu dil mein rah ke bhi dil se utarne wala tha
na jaane kaun si neki bacha gai mujh ko
