mat sag-e-yar se dawa-e-musawat karo
mat sag-e-yār se dā'vā-e-musāvāt karo
us kane baiThne paao to mabāhāt karo
sohbat āḳhir hai hamārī na karo phir afsos
muttasil ho sake to ham se mulāqāt karo
dīdanī hai ye havā shaiḳh jī se koī kahe
ki chalo mai-kade Tuk tum to karāmāt karo
tum to tasvīr hue dekh ke kuchh ā.īna
itnī chup bhī nahīñ hai ḳhuub koī baat karo
bas bahut vaqt kiyā sher ke fan meñ zaa.e.a
'mīr' ab piir hue tark-e-ḳhayālāt karo

bas bahut waqt kiya sher ke fan mein zaea
'mir' ab pir hue tark-e-KHayalat karo
