sun ke sifat humse KHarabaat ki
sun ke sifat ham se ḳharābāt kī
aql ga.ī zāhid-e-bad-zāt kī
jī meñ hamāre bhī thā pīveñ sharāb
pīr-e-muġhāñ tū ne karāmāt kī
koī ramaq-e-jān thī tan meñ mire
so bhī tire ġham kī mudārāt kī
yaad meñ tujh zulf kī girya se shoḳh
roz mirā raat hai barsāt kī
sun ke sifat hum se KHarabaat ki
aql gai zahid-e-bad-zat ki
ji mein hamare bhi tha piwen sharab
pir-e-mughan tu ne karamat ki
koi ramaq-e-jaan thi tan mein mere
so bhi tere gham ki mudaraat ki
yaad mein tujh zulf ki girya se shoKH
roz mera raat hai barsat ki
