میں نے پچیس برس اس کے سائے کے بن
اس کے بن
ایسے تنہا گزارے کہ جیسے کسی دشت میں
میل ہا میل تک
کوئی پانی نہ ہو اور مسافر بھی واقف ہو اس سے
مگر اس کو یہ بھی پتا ہو
کہ تنہا سہی
اور پیاسا سہی
میں جینا تو ہے
میرے سچے او تنہا خدا
میرے دشمن کا والد سلامت رہے
