آدمی بلبلہ ہے پانی کا
اور پانی کی بہتی سطح پر
ٹوٹتا بھی ہے ڈوبتا بھی ہے
پھر ابھرتا ہے، پھر سے بہتا ہے
نہ سمندر نگل سکا اس کو
نہ تواریخ توڑ پائی ہے
وقت کی ہتھیلی پر بہتا
آدمی بلبلہ ہے پانی کا
