لو جی ہو گیا نور کا تڑکا
جاگا ہے دہقاں کا لڑکا
سن کر چوں چوں چوں چڑیوں کی
دینے لگے اذاں مرغے بھی
بھیڑوں کا غلہ بھی جاگا
لڑکا آیا بھاگا بھاگا
ڈال کے سب کو چارا اس نے
دھویا اپنا چہرا اس نے
پی کر ٹھنڈی میٹھی لسی
پکڑی اس نے ہاتھ میں رسی
کھیت میں جا کر گانے گاتا
ٹھنڈی صبح کا لطف اٹھاتا
کرتا ہے یہ سوچ کے گوڈی
آئے گی ہر شاخ پہ ڈوڈی
کام کو اپنے وہ نمٹا کر
سستائے گا واپس جا کر
