manzar chamanistāñ ke zebā hoñ ki nā-zebā
mahrūm-e-‘amal nargis majbūr-e-tamāshā hai
raftār kī lazzat kā ehsās nahīñ is ko
fitrat hī sanobar kī mahrūm-e-tamannā hai
taslīm kī ḳhūgar hai jo chiiz hai duniyā meñ
insān kī har quvvat sargarm-e-taqāzā hai
is zarre ko rahtī hai vus'at kī havas har dam
ye zarra nahīñ shāyad simTā huā sahrā hai
chāhe to badal Daale hai.at chamanistāñ kī
ye hastī-e-dānā hai biinā hai tavānā hai
manzar chamanistan ke zeba hon ki na-zeba
mahrum-e-‘amal nargis majbur-e-tamasha hai
raftar ki lazzat ka ehsas nahin is ko
fitrat hi sanobar ki mahrum-e-tamanna hai
taslim ki KHugar hai jo chiz hai duniya mein
insan ki har quwwat sargarm-e-taqaza hai
is zarre ko rahti hai wus'at ki hawas har dam
ye zarra nahin shayad simTa hua sahra hai
chahe to badal Dale haiat chamanistan ki
ye hasti-e-dana hai bina hai tawana hai
