انتظار کی رات
تیری وادی کے صنوبر میرے صحرا کے ببول
ان پہ اک لرزہ سا طاری ان کے مرجھائے سے پھول
تیرا جی ان سے خفا اور میرا دل ان پر ملول
کیا یہ ممکن ہے کہ ان کا فاصلہ ہو جائے کم
خاک کے سینے پہ آخر کب تلک یہ بار غم
