Dhal chukā din aur terī qabr par
der se baiThā huā huuñ sar-nigūñ
ruuh par taarī hai ik mub.ham sukūt
ab vo soz-e-ġham na vo sāz-e-junūñ
mustaqil mahsūs hotā hai mujhe
jaise tere saath maiñ bhī dafn huuñ

ruh par tari hai ek mubham sukut
ab wo soz-e-gham na wo saz-e-junun
mustaqil mahsus hota hai mujhe
jaise tere sath main bhi dafn hun
