om kā jhanDā fazāoñ meñ uḌātā aayā
use tahzīb kā sartāj banātā aayā
jis se har qaum kī taqdīr banā kartī hai
hameñ aḳhlāq kā vo dars sikhātā aayā
aatmā saaf huā kartī hai jin jazboñ se
mash.al-e-rāh unhī jazboñ ko banātā aayā
ham dayānand ko kahte haiñ payambar lekin
ḳhud ko vo qaum kā sevak hī batātā aayā
āriya-vart kā raushan-tarīñ mīnār thā vo
raushnī saare zamāne ko dikhātā aayā
qaum ko shuddhī kī ta.alīm kā unvāñ de kar
qaum ko ġhair ke panje se chhuḌātā aayā
bhā.ī-chāre se mohabbat se ravādārī se
qaum ko jiine kā andāz sikhātā aayā
apnī tahzīb jise log bhulā baiThe the
ved-mantar se vahī yaad dilātā aayā
shāstr aur ved ke mantar kā uchāran kar ke
ahd-e-māzī kā ik ā.īna dikhātā aayā
ghor añdhkār thā agyān kā jaarī har-sū
gyaan agyān ke antar ko miTātā aayā
kufr-o-bātil ke uḌe hāthoñ ke tote ai 'charḳh'
haq-parastī kā vo yuuñ Dañkā bajātā aayā
om ka jhanDa fazaon mein uData aaya
use tahzib ka sartaj banata aaya

hamein aKHlaq ka wo dars sikhata aaya
aatma saf hua karti hai jin jazbon se
mashal-e-rah unhi jazbon ko banata aaya
hum dayanand ko kahte hain payambar lekin
KHud ko wo qaum ka sewak hi batata aaya
aariya-wart ka raushan-tarin minar tha wo
raushni sare zamane ko dikhata aaya
qaum ko shuddhi ki talim ka unwan de kar
qaum ko ghair ke panje se chhuData aaya
bhai-chaare se mohabbat se rawadari se
qaum ko jine ka andaz sikhata aaya
apni tahzib jise log bhula baiThe the
wed-mantar se wahi yaad dilata aaya
shastr aur wed ke mantar ka uchaaran kar ke
ahd-e-mazi ka ek aaina dikhata aaya
ghor andhkar tha agyan ka jari har-su
gyan agyan ke antar ko miTata aaya
kufr-o-baatil ke uDe hathon ke tote ai 'charKH'
haq-parasti ka wo yun Danka bajata aaya
