aa.ī na mire kaam mirī tāza-safīrī
rakhne lagā murjhā.e hue phuul qafas meñ
shāyad ki asīroñ ko gavārā ho asīrī
ye mahr hai be-mehri-e-sayyaad ka parda
aai na mere kaam meri taza-safiri
rakhne laga murjhae hue phul qafas mein
shayad ki asiron ko gawara ho asiri
