mujhe yaad hai
rā.egānī ke gahre samundar meñ
jab maiñ ne iktāra apnā bajāyā
to is naġhma-e-jāñ-fazā se
maqāmāt āh-o-fuġhāñ ke ubhāre
mazāmīn-e-nau ke sharāre jagā.e
miTā Daalā ehsās sab rā.egānī kā
samundar kī tah se
nayā shahr ubhārā
mujhe yaad hai
