kab se khaḌī hai
itne dinoñ se
ye apne man meñ

kis ko batā.e
ye apnī bāteñ
kis ko sunā.e
āñkhoñ meñ is kī
aaj aur kal ke
sapne bhare haiñ
hāthoñ meñ is ke
jīvan hai sab kā
dekhe to koī
chhoTī sī aurat
saare jahāñ meñ
sab se baḌī hai
chhoTi si aurat
tarik ghar mein
ya rah-guzar mein

aankhon mein is ki
aaj aur kal ke
