din ko us kā lahū thā arzāñ
phir aa.ī ye shām-e-ġharībāñ
tauq gale meñ, paañv ba-jūlāñ
sabr hai giryāñ, zulm hai ḳhandāñ
shaam huī
karb o balā, sannāTā har-sū
har-sū us ke lahū kī ḳhushbū
mere lafz aur us ke jaadū
shaam huī
din ko us ka lahu tha arzan

sabr hai giryan, zulm hai KHandan
sham hui
