zamīn-e-sañg se sūraj ugāne vaale haath
kise ḳhabar thī ki us shahr meñ qalam hoñge
jahāñ se parcham-e-dast-e-hunar buland huā
zamīñ aqīda-e-fardā se lāla-rañg huī
ufuq sitāra-e-mehnat se arjmand huā
aur ab ke baar qalam bhī unhīñ ke saath rahe
jo apnī fat.h ke nashshe meñ chuur naḳhvat se
durīda-dāmani-e-ahl-e-dil pe hañste haiñ
fuġhān-e-qāfila-e-muzmahil pe hañste haiñ
zamin-e-sang se suraj ugane wale hath
kise KHabar thi ki us shahr mein qalam honge
jahan se parcham-e-dast-e-hunar buland hua
zamin aqida-e-farda se lala-rang hui
ufuq sitara-e-mehnat se arjmand hua
aur ab ke bar qalam bhi unhin ke sath rahe
jo apni fath ke nashshe mein chur naKHwat se
durida-damani-e-ahl-e-dil pe hanste hain
