vo āñkhoñ par paTTī bāñdhe phirtī hai
dīvāroñ kā chūnā chāTtī rahtī hai
ḳhāmoshī ke sahrāoñ meñ us ke ghar
mare hue sūraj haiñ us kī chhātī par
us ke badan ko chhū kar lamhe saal bane
saal ka.ī sadiyoñ meñ puure hote haiñ
vo āñkhoñ par paTTī bāñdhe phirtī hai
wo aankhon par paTTi bandhe phirti hai
diwaron ka chuna chaTti rahti hai
KHamoshi ke sahraon mein us ke ghar
mare hue suraj hain us ki chhati par
us ke badan ko chhu kar lamhe sal bane
sal kai sadiyon mein pure hote hain
wo aankhon par paTTi bandhe phirti hai
