dekh leñ kis ke chehre pe parchhā.īñ hai shaam kī
jaise jaise ye shāmeñ guzartī haiñ ham
pul se pul jhāñkte
us nadī ke sire ko gañvāte chale jā rahe haiñ
ajab tarah log
apne apne ḳhayāloñ ko jismoñ meñ bāñTe hue haiñ
ḳhayāloñ ko jismoñ meñ bāñTūñ ki Dhālūñ
waqt ko nap len
