tum dekho jab apnī sūrat
ham bhī dekh sakeñ ye manzar
yahī to apnī ḳhvāhish hai
phuul kaheñ jo sargoshī meñ
saare bhed tumhāre tan ke
ham bhī sun paa.eñ ye hikāyat
ye bhī apnī ḳhvāhish hai
chandni raat ke aaine mein
tum dekho jab apni surat
hum bhi dekh saken ye manzar
