اتنا نور کہاں سے لاؤں تاریکی کے اس جنگل میں
دو جگنو ہی پاس تھے اپنے جن کو ستارہ کر رکھا ہے
تجھے شناخت نہیں ہے مرے لہو کی کیا
میں روز صبح کے اخبار سے نکلتا ہوں
مری تلاش میں وہ بھی ضرور آئے گا
سو میں بھی چشم خریدار سے نکلتا ہوں
کدھر ڈبو کے کہاں پر ابھارتا ہے تو
یہ کیسا رنگ ہے دریا تری روانی کا
کیا ختم نہ ہوگی کبھی صحرا کی حکومت
رستے میں کہیں تو در و دیوار بھی آئے
