pyar ka dard ka mazhab nahin hota koi

koi dushman koi hamdam bhi nahin sath apne

hisab-e-umr karo ya hisab-e-jam karo

nahin jo teri KHushi lab pe kyun hansi aae

har baat teri jaan-e-jahan man raha hun

tumhaari qaid-e-wafa se jo chhuT jaunga

tera dil to nahin dil ki lagi hun

naz-parwarda-e-jahan tum ho

aaj bhi hath pe hai tere pasine ki tari

ye bhi shayad tera andaz-e-dil-arai hai

nizam-e-shams-o-qamar kitne dast-e-KHak mein hain

jo pa kar bhi kuchh nahin khote wo rote hain is duniya mein

gham-kade wo jo tere gam se jal uThte hain

jo tere husn mein narmi bhi bankpan bhi hai
