fazā-e-ḳhauf meñ 'ishrat harām hai saaqī
jamāl-e-yār kī chāhat harām hai saaqī
jahāñ bashar ho asīr-e-jafā vahāñ 'jā'far'
ham ahl-e-faqr pe rāhat harām hai saaqī
