piirī se yuuñ shabāb kā aalam badal gayā
jaise ghirā thā abr baras kar nikal gayā
ālā.ish-e-jahāñ se na tar-dāmanī huī
hone ko laġhzisheñ to huiiñ par sañbhal gayā

jaise ghira tha abr baras kar nikal gaya
aalaish-e-jahan se na tar-damani hui
hone ko laghzishen to huin par sanbhal gaya
