iid aa.ī hai aish-o-nosh kā sāmāñ kar
ik sāqī-e-gul-ezār ko mehmāñ kar
qurbānī hai vājib aaj 'aḳhtar' tū bhī
tauba ko ḳhudā ke naam par qurbāñ kar
