phūloñ se bharā huā thā dāman merā
ab ba.ad-e-fanā subuk huuñ itnā 'vahshī'
nik.hat meñ guloñ ke hai nasheman merā
jab gulshan-e-dahr mein tha maskan mera
phulon se bhara hua tha daman mera
ab baad-e-fana subuk hun itna 'wahshi'
nikhat mein gulon ke hai nasheman mera
