A آل āl (rt. اول), s.f. Family, relations, kinsfolk; children, offspring, progeny, descendants; house, race, dynasty: (The restriction of this word to the maternal progeny, and that of aulād to the paternal, would not appear to exist in Arabic):—āl-aulād, s.f.=āl:—āl-bel, s.f. Children, offspring:—āl-i-sult̤ānī, s.m. Royal family, dynasty:—āl o at̤fāl, s.f.=āl-bel, q.v.
الحاح ilḥāḥ
A الحاح ilḥāḥ [inf. n. iv of لحّ 'to be close' (to), &c.], s.f. Solicitation, urgency, importunity, entreaty:—ilḥāḥ karnā (-se), To solicit, entreat (of), beseech, implore.
