H اپنا अपना apnā [gen. of آپ;—S. आत्मानं, acc. of आत्मन्, pronom. adj. (f. -ī), Of or belonging to self, own (one's, his, &c.:—apnā is the uniform substitute for each and all of the possessive pronouns when they refer to the same person as the subject of the verb); personal, private, individual; peculiar:—s.m. One's own kindred, relatives, friends, &c—apnā apnā, adj. (f. -ī), Each his own; respective; particular, special; individual:—apnī apnī paṛnā, To be keen each after his own interests or affairs:—apnī apnī jagah, Each in its proper place; respective or assigned places:—apnā-begāna (or bigāna), s.m. Relations and strangers; friends and foes:—apnā-sā muṅh le-kar, adv.
