P تند tund (S. तुङ्ग, or तूर्ण?), adj. Quick, swift, rapid, fast, fleet; brisk, active; hot, sharp, acrid; hot-spirited, impetuous, hasty; severe, stern, acrimonious; fierce, furious, violent:—tund-ḵẖo, adj. Hot-tempered, passionate, irascible, violent-tempered, furious; fretful, peevish:—tund-ḵẖoʼī, s.f. Violence of temper, aptitude to unreasonable and excessive anger, passionateness, irascibility; fretfulness, peevishness:—tund-raftār, adj. Fast-going, swift, fleet:—tund-zabān, adj. Speaking rapidly; fluent, eloquent:—tund-mizāj, adj. Hot-tempered, &c.=tund-ḵẖo, q.v.:—tund-honā, v.n. To become angry, be very displeased.
