phul hanse kyon roi shabnam

us pe kya guzregi waqt marg andaza laga

KHak sahra mein uDati hai ye diwani hawa

us shoKH se milte hi hui apni nazar tez

jalwa-numa hai chand sitaro ba-ehtiyat

zulfon ki chhanw chhanw ruKH-e-la-jawab tha
