sirf ik qadam uThā thā ġhalat rāh-e-shauq meñ
manzil tamām umr mujhe DhūñDhtī rahī
sirf ek qadam uTha tha ghalat rah-e-shauq mein

dil abhī puurī tarah TuuTā nahīñ
dostoñ kī mehrbānī chāhiye
