Chandrabhan khayal was born in Babai, district Hoshangabad (M.P) on 30th April 1946. He did his graduation from Sagar University (M.P) and started his career as a journalist. For the last forty five years tirelessly dedicated to the cause of development, advancement and refinement of the National cultural and literary scene. He had worked for several Urdu dailies like 'Savera' 'Qaumi Aawaz' etc. Presently he is the Chief Editor of Hindi weekly 'Bhavya Bharat Times' New Delhi. Apart from it he had also participated in different national and international mushairas, Urdu conferences, Radio and T.V. programmes and intellectual and cultural activities. Several books have been published like 'Sholon ka shajar', (1979) , 'Gumshuda aadmi ka intezar' (1996) collection of poems, Kumar Pashi-Ek intekhab (1997) published by Urdu Academy, Laulak ( A long poem based on Holy life of "Prophet Hazrat Mohammad") 2002, "Sulagti Soch ke Saye" (2002 ) a collection of poems in Hindi, A collection of poem Subh-E-Mashriq Ki Azan (2008) and Kulliyat-E- Kumar Pashi (Published by National council for Promotion of Urdu language, 2012). He had received various awards and honours like UP Urdu academy award , Delhi Urdu Academy Award, Makhan Lal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Samman (M.P.), Hindi Urdu Sahitya Sangam Award, Lucknow (U.P.), All India Unani Tibbi Conference Award for National integration, Nai Awaz, New Delhi Award for poetry (Laulak), Sheri Bhopali Award of M.P. Urdu Academy for poetry etc.
