hazar martaba dekha sitam judai ka

dar-parda sitam hum pe wo kar jate hain kaise

masham-e-bulbul mein rashk-e-gul ki hunuz bu bhi nahin gai hai

qurbani-e-insan ka nahin shauq gar usko

ranj-o-gham maine uThaya so uThaya tanha

samne mere na ghairon se milata aankhen

main jumbish-e-lab dekh ke samjha suKHan-e-mauj

aaghosh ka haz paikar-o-diba ne uThaya

aatish-e-mai se charagh-e-husn raushan ho gaya

dil chaak-chaak ishq mein hai sina dagh-dagh

harifo hosh mein aao ki jam shishe ka

KHwahan-e-kaam-e-jaan hain tan-asaniyon mein hum

marg-e-ashiq par jo barham ho do-alam ka waraq

ishq mein kamtar hanse aur beshtar roya kiye

umr-bhar ishq ke aazar ne sone na diya

mahfil se aaKHir uski nikalwae jaenge

mohabbat qata ki tumne wo koson uD gaya tum se

hai masiha-e-ajal ko tere bimar se naz

kya waqt-e-sahar hausla baqi ho dua ka
