sitam ahl-e-karam farma rahe hain

tu ne jo harakat dil-e-nadan ki

chand tinke the jo anjum aashiyane ke liye

apne jazbon ki thakan yun bhi utari humne

ashk aankhon se dam-e-zabt rawan hota hai

asl chehron ka inkishaf kiya

dekh kar log hue shashdar-o-hairan mujhe

roz-e-raushan ko shab-e-tar na kahna aaya

zindagi chhoD gai be-sar-o-saman mujhe

bahaaron mein tilism-e-gul-ruKHan ka zikr karne do

kuchh nahin duniya badal jaane ki gham-KHwani mujhe

yun naqab-e-ruKH-e-zeba bhi uTha di kis ne
