koī mausam bhī sazā-vār-e-mohabbat nahīñ ab
zard pattoñ ko havāoñ se shikāyat nahīñ ab
shor hī karb-e-tamannā kī alāmat na rahe
kisī dīvār meñ bhī gosh-e-samā.at nahīñ ab
jal chuke log to ab dhuup meñ ThanDak aa.ī
thī jo sūraj ko daraḳhtoñ se adāvat nahīñ ab
vo to pahle bhī sabīloñ meñ nahīñ haTtī thī
jis ke bikne kī dukānoñ pe ijāzat nahīñ ab
ab to har shaḳhs meñ barpā hai ḳhud us kā mahshar
hai koī aur qayāmat to qayāmat nahīñ ab
