سید سبط علی صبا کی شخیت میں سادگی کی ساتھ ساتھ ایک اکھڑپن بھی نظر آتا ہے اور کم وبیش یہی وصف ان کی شاعری میں بھی دیکھی جاتی ہے۔ ان کے مجموعہ کلام 'ابر سنگ' کی شاعری میں روزمرہ کے تجربے اور اخلاقی ناقدری پر ان کی جھنجھلاہٹ کو شدت کے ساتھ محسوس کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
About The Author
Syed Sibt-e-Ali was born on 11 November 1935 in Kotli Lohaaran of district Sialkot. He completed his elementary education from Rudki and Sialkot. He had been an employee of Pakistan army from1953 to 1960 and was posted on the border of Khemkaran, during the war of 1965. Following that he was posted in the Pakistan ordinance factories till the last days of his life. He wrote under the pen name, Saba. Tasht-e-Murad is the collection of his poetry that was published posthumously. He passed away on 14 May 1980 due to a heart attack.
