About The Author
Chandra Prakash Jauhar Bijori has been known as a popular mushaira poet. He was born at Bijnor in 1923. Although his father was not a poet himself but he was a connoisseur of poetry and loved listening to poets in mushairas. Bijnori developed his taste for poetry in such an environment that respected poetry for its performative value. Inspired by this, he started composing his ghazals and sought counselling on his poetry from Izhar Hussain Khan Izhar Rampuri. He developed his skill with success and practised several forms other than ghazal.
