سہیل عظیم آبادی نے پریم چند کی روایت کو آگے بڑھایا بلکہ ان کے افسانوں میں بہار کے گاؤں اور کسانوں کی زندگی کو دیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔سہیل عظیم کا بادی کا یہ تیسرا مجموعہ" چار چہرے" ہے جو چار افسانوں سے مزین ہے"چار چہرے" 1977 میں شائع ہوا ۔انہوں نے پہلی بار صوبہ بہارکی زندگی کو افسانوں کا موضوع بنایا،ان کے افسانوں کی ایک خوبی یہ ہے کہ چھوٹے سے چھوٹے مسئلے کو جنہیں دوسرے فنکار نظرانداز کرتے ہیں ان ہی مسائل کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے اس طرح بیان کرتے ہیں کہ قاری کے ذہن میں اس کا مکمل نقش ابھرنے لگتا ہے۔

Sohail Azimabadi is a renowned Urdu novelist. Under the patronage of Maulvi Abdul Haq, he launched a movement for the promotion of Urdu in Bihar. His famous newspaper "Sathi" helped him a lot in this work. In addition, the monthly "Tahzeeb" also tried to achieve this goal.
